Event Description

Chris Borgmeier is recruiting students for his first on-line course on FBA to BSP to support students with challenging behaviors.  It is an 11 wk course that begins April 3, Registration opens March 20.

The course will offer on-line training, combined with coaching and feedback to participants on FBA/BSP documents as they complete their own FBA/BSP case. There will also be weekly discussion related to training content and conducting their own FBA/BSP.

This course could be particularly helpful for people who may not have easy access to training and coaching in FBA/BSP. Training alone in complex practices like FBA/BSP is not sufficient, though we would like to see this coaching occur locally, many schools and districts don’t have the capacity to offer it. The real benefit of the course is the opportunity for feedback and coaching on FBA/BSP documents and ongoing discussion.

Questions about course registration or other logistics contact Tracy Williams-Murphy twill2@pdx.edu

Questions about course content – contact Chris Borgmeier cborgmei@pdx.edu

This is not offered by USM, this is an announcement for Chris Borgmeier.
