Trained and Experienced PBIS (RTI-B) Coach Available Now to Districts and Schools

Greetings,

I will be completing my two year assignment in May with the Lewiston Public Schools as a PBIS Coach. I have worked primarily with two schools in the district, Montello Elementary School and Lewiston Middle School. I am proud to say that both schools have met 80/80 on the SET, they are implementing the Tier 2 CICO and Social Skills interventions, they use SWIS/CICO as their data management system and they have systems in place to sustain Tiers 1 and 2.

I am available and… Continue

Student Teams

I work with the students a Lewiston Middle School. I'm wondering what other schools are doing in regards to student and or parent teams. We are focusing on a "new" student video and filming PBIS procedures but we'd like to see what else is out there? Our students would like a wiki, a wordpress and ability to film and promote PBIS and positive events happening at our school.

Barriers innclude:

  • Filming events and media permission ( School and PBIS…

PBIS at the High School

Hi Folks!

I am looking for some feedback regarding implementing PBIS at the High School. I have explained some of the basics to the team I work with and they want to know how it will work with their students. For example - they have a major concern about the lesson plan - the process by which we go into the setting to teach the expectations (e.g. discuss, role play, practice and give feedback) the staff feels as though they would be laughed at by their students. I think it becomes…

Free Resources???

We've noticed that most websites offered cost $$ for supplies, and it seems that all RTI resources cost money, and lots of it.  Our district, as well as many others we assume, are going through budget cuts.

Are there any free resources for RTI, i.e. assessment tools, tracking tools, organization tools, screening, etc.???  Any information would be greatly appreciated coming from a school who's trying to implement RTI for the first time this year.

Thanks in…

How do I post files on the NING????

Great question!

* When logged in, you'll see "My Page" in the menu banner along the top.  Click on "My Page".

* In the middle column of the page, you'll see "Add Text" in orange.  Click on that.

* Here, add a title for your posting and then click on the paperclip.  That will allow you to add your file.

* When done, click "Save" at the bottom and you should now see your materials posted…
