Response to Intervention (academic & behavior) in Maine
We've noticed that most websites offered cost $$ for supplies, and it seems that all RTI resources cost money, and lots of it. Our district, as well as many others we assume, are going through budget cuts.
Are there any free resources for RTI, i.e. assessment tools, tracking tools, organization tools, screening, etc.??? Any information would be greatly appreciated coming from a school who's trying to implement RTI for the first time this year.
Thanks in advance!!
Theresa and friends.

This is a good question and there are some free resources. We have a number of assessment resources on the SMART site at:
http://usm.maine.edu/smart/assessment.html
On that list everything except AIMSweb has free material. For instruciton some sites that have free stuff are:
Florida Center for Reading Research
One way I have found free resources is to look on sites for home schooling parents. Some sites are terrible but others are pretty good.
