Response to Intervention (academic & behavior) in Maine
I am looking for some feedback regarding implementing PBIS at the High School. I have explained some of the basics to the team I work with and they want to know how it will work with their students. For example - they have a major concern about the lesson plan - the process by which we go into the setting to teach the expectations (e.g. discuss, role play, practice and give feedback) the staff feels as though they would be laughed at by their students. I think it becomes questionable when we think about asking a HS student to practice the expectations in the settings so that we can provide feedback....does anyone have any ideas they could give me about this concern?
